Please say no, cos I haven't.

ruddynorah Sun 01-Jul-07 16:44:07

they will take yonks if you haven't boiled them a bit first.

NuttyMuffins Sun 01-Jul-07 16:44:34

How long ?? They are cut up quite small.

NuttyMuffins Sun 01-Jul-07 16:45:00

The chicken still has an hour to go yet.

Carmenere Sun 01-Jul-07 16:45:09

No, not at all. They are often nicer if you do but it isn't necessary.

Carmenere Sun 01-Jul-07 16:45:22

They will be fine

They'll be fine, sling 'em in.

NuttyMuffins Sun 01-Jul-07 16:46:09

Oh good. Am trying to be good and stop using frozen stuff as much.

Will be chuffed if they are nice, my mum always makes lovely roasts and i'd love mine to be as good.

AttilaTheMum Sun 01-Jul-07 16:46:46

They are probably healthier if you don't boil first because they won't soak up so much fat.
Difficult to say how long - depends on your oven, type of potato, size of pieces etc...

they will bo OK , but can go more fluffy and crisper of you do boil thingy before for anbout 5-10 mins (depends on size you have cut them)..

Infact cut them small anyway, far nicer.
