Please!

I've never decorated a cake before so the whole thing was very stressful, but I think it turned out ok.

It should be in my profile.

Farmyard on top, Marslady's choc cake inside. Yummy.

And should have said, big thank you to Mars for the recipe and to all the people who helped me find images when I was stuck! Thank you all.

Thank you! To look at the profile, I think you click on the person's name. Or the little tag at the top right of their post.

The icing was just tubs of the fluffy white stuff - I think Duncan Hines - whatever they had in Safeways. I was going to make it myself, but I gave it in the end!

Baseballs will be fab. My friend said she made baseball cupcakes for her son's birthday but she couldn't get a good orange colour - it was more peachy but as they were 2 year olds, they didn't notice. I'm not sure how you make a good orange colour but I want to see pics when you've done them, Califrau!

You know, I didn't think I was ready for a village show, but I think now I might just be!

And, I just arranged some flowers so all that is left is joining the WI and making some jam and I'll be at the show.

Make way for mamama!

I'm impressed. I do a lot of baking, but never, ever venture into decorating.

lol CACM - I'm usually the same way. The problem with decorating is that everyone can see if you make a cock-up!
