Too many baguettes!

We had a big family lunch yesterday and I’ve ended up with 4 really large white baguettes to use up. We’re having them pizza style tonight but wondering if anyone had any other inspiration so they don’t go to waste?

Unfortunately not...that’s full of the chilli and pulled pork leftovers!

Put them in the freezer to use as garlic bread at a later date.

Or leave them to go state an blitz them for bread crumbs

or make bread and butter pudding

get the pulled pork out and use that on them as open sandwich😁

Alternatively they freeze really well, just chop them to size.

breadcrumb to make a crust for lamb.steak.fish.
tear into chunks.roast with some olive oil (cheese optional)garlic butter.top mince.pie base.chicken stew.any base really.it can be really big chunks too.
look up the recipe for panzanella its glorious when done right.
crouton for soup.
Add eggs and vegetables, bake, and call it strata
nestle in the pain with your roast chicken.can you imagine those chunks of chicken juiced loveliness.

I made old fashioned Bread pudding with a glut of French bread last week. It worked really well (and was lovely!)
