Hi
Please could I ask you to help me with ideas for the 'tea' pack up.
I do a packed lunch daily so that's not an issue really.
What I'm struggling with is ideas for the later one.
1- it needs to stay fresh,
2- thinking it needs to be different from the lunch time one,
3- it needs to be filling.
My ds is nearly 13 and has a huge appetite.
Hes going on a day outing with school for 13 hours and not allowed to take money to buy food unfortunately.
Any ideas greatdul recieved,
Thank you

My kids like the Thermos food flask. It's very good, soup, saucy foods - stew, curry and pasta always keep nice and hot.
Fried rice is another popular one.
You could do the hot one for lunch and then sandwich, piece of quiche, veg fritata or Spanish tortilla, some fruit etc for later.
The hot food keeps my kids full, my fifteen year old son eats me out of house and home. Chicken curry or veg curry is always a winner for him.

Ahh that's a fantastic idea, I hadn't thought of something like that.
I'll have a look for a one of those flasks.
He loves curry too maybe that's a winner.
Thank you ☺

My DS loves these curried potato pasties that travel well, keep well and are just as delicious eaten cold www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/9591/curried-potato-pasties
They're not too bulky and can be eaten without cutlery.

I was going to suggest something like a big cornish pasty? They're not that difficult to make and you can add whatever he likes to it.
