Oh dear god help me Confused

My two ds both under 8 are having a joint party at a soft play place. We've hired the place for 1.5 hour but have to bring own food. Any help on quantity and ideas in general would be appreciated. There's about 40 kids coming. Ideally I want to stick under £50 spend

Confused I feel a bit scared now

I would buy lots of squash as they will be thirsty.

For 40 kids I would only do crisps, biscuits and some fruit.
And lots of squash.

clementine's split into sections grapes cut up pieces of cheese, chicken nuggets! (& hope to God no mum comes in shrieking allergies!) cupcakes chocolate fingers (white!) and big box of mixed biscuits or iced biscuits or jammy biscuits - one of friends years ago got paper cups & made individual jellies & spray cream on top -whether you want to do this I don't know! - & if they have freezer there small ice lollies (invade Icelands for ideas!)

I would go for plain ones but maybe also have different shape ones to look like a variety

I'd buy 20 pizzas at £1 each. Cook them and cut into slices before you go. The children won't give a monkeys that they're cold. I'd spend £5 on veg to cut into batons. In Asda you can get frozen bags of 26 cocktail sausages for £1.35 and I'd get three bags. I'd spend about £6 on crisps so that each child had their own bag. Tesco do variety multipacks of 30 for about £2.50. I'd spend £6 on packets of mini rolls (that would get you 48). I'd spend £4 on biscuits and £5 on orange juice and apple juice.

I’d keep it simple, with not much variety - the more variety, the more gets eaten IME. Pizza and over chips. Squash. Little cupcakes/mini rolls/cornflake cakes. Cocktail sausages. Grapes and cucumber.

I wouldn’t bother with hot food for an hour and a half party.

It’s just to keep them going really.

Aldi do some fab copies of crisps.....quavers, Pom bears etc

Maybe an ice pop at the end would be good.
