I’m making apple butter (“butter” bit is apparently just spreadable consistency, no actual butter added) for the first time using up some wind fall apples.
The trouble is that I was too heavy handed with spices (too much ground clove in addition to cinnamon and mixed spice). How would you remedy this? It’s in the slow cooker for another 5hrs or so. Would you add more apple? Or apple juice? Help!
