This is my absolute favourite brownie recipe. It's very rare that I make it for a bake sale without someone asking for the recipe.
Mix together 300g caster sugar, 100g cocoa powder, 100g self-raising flour, 175g melted butter, a spoonful of vanilla extract and three eggs. I add a bar of chopped white chocolate and there would be nothing to stop you adding some instant coffee, perhaps stirred into a bit of warm milk to dissolve it.
Mix together, sling into a greased seven inch square tray and bake at 180c for between 20 and 30 minutes until it's set but still a bit wobbly. Allow to cool completely before turning out and cutting.
I have found this recipe on the internet. I hope this will help Ingredients 1 2/3 cups sugar(granulated is fine) 3/4 cup butter, melted 2 Tbsp water 2 extra-large eggs 2 tsp vanilla extract 1 1/3 cups flour 3/4 cup good quality cocoa 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 3/4 cup slivered almonds ½ tsp chili powder – optional
