This is my absolute favourite brownie recipe. It's very rare that I make it for a bake sale without someone asking for the recipe.

Mix together 300g caster sugar, 100g cocoa powder, 100g self-raising flour, 175g melted butter, a spoonful of vanilla extract and three eggs. I add a bar of chopped white chocolate and there would be nothing to stop you adding some instant coffee, perhaps stirred into a bit of warm milk to dissolve it.

Mix together, sling into a greased seven inch square tray and bake at 180c for between 20 and 30 minutes until it's set but still a bit wobbly. Allow to cool completely before turning out and cutting.

Any good recipes please?

Would particularly like a coffee and chocolate brownie if anyone has made one and its scrumptious

Making for work on Friday
