I was v. impressed when I saw someone going around Aldi last time with a printed list - so,

I have created my own, in the order of walking round the shop.

Am stupidly pleased with myself :)

Don’t need a list for Aldi as I know it off by heart. Grin

But I have a list on my phone for Morrison’s which is done in the order of walking round the shop.

I love a good shopping list, I can't believe some people (my mum included) go shopping without one!

I use an app called Shopping UK for my shopping list. It's amazing, you can add to the list throughout the week, then when you're ready to shop it puts all of your items into categories e.g. Fresh meat and fish, Frozen, Cleaning & Household so it's easy to tick off as you put things in your trolley.

I got a printed shopping list off the net but of course, sadly, it is aimed at Americans so lots of things we would not buy/use. I should really do my own as I don't ever buy meat and of course there are pages of that.

I just add things to the notes section of my phone when they are running low.

I am binning the list - used it a couple of times, but was actually a hassle.

Found that, even though I ticked things (or not) when at home, I doubted myself when I got to the shop, and bought things anyway.

Couldn't read the list easily without glasses - but then can't see to walk with them on.

Back to a hand written list - but a good experiment non the less!

I spent ages a few weeks ago rewriting the list in the (seemingly random) order of our local aldi's' shelves only to find that they had had a complete refit and I couldn't find anything. Took me twice as long as usual.
