For the Aussie MNetters, I buy all my herbs, spices and teas on Australherbs

I have used spicesofindia.co.uk successfully. Foxes of Stratford on Avon are really good quality but they don't have a proper internet site. You can call or email an order.

OP some of my more fancy cook books have a section in the back where the chefs lists where they buy all the far flung ingredients from. This section has a specific name which I can't remember due to extreme sleep deprivation when do they start to sleep? So it might be worth checking out some of your cookbooks to see if that helps too.

I know she ain't that well revered by Nigella always seems to know where to get good species and herbs from, she's a spice fiend if her show is correct.

I second //www.spicesofindia.co.uk; also like //www.mexgrocer.co.uk and the amazing //www.souschef.co.uk. (I buy a lot of spices online!)

Great to have more suggestions and links, thank you so much CDTaylornats. I had a look at Seasoned Pioneers for the first time today because Nigella mentions them in the back of How To Eat!

Oh I love 'How To Eat' too Op. it's the first book I go to when I need to find a recipe and I always trust it over other recipes I might find for the same dish. In the days before having a baby I used to read it like a book. I swear I learnt so much that way and I love how Nigella writes anyway.

Yes she writes really, really well I think. I find her recipes a bit hit and miss but the good ones are really good ifyswim. I think her Christmas book is one of my all time favourites too.

I had purchased some herbs online before at www.savoryspiceshop.com/herbs-spices/. There are a lot of different spices you can choose from and you can also select your desired ratio.
