What oil do you use? I’m a big lover of olive oil, especially extra virgin. I usually buy this one which tastes nice but could use recommendations on which cooking oil is better.

I use extra Virgin olive oil for dressings etc and rapeseed oil for cooking. Sometimes use peanut oil or sesame oil for Asian style dishes.

I use:
Extra virgin olive oil, pumpkin seed oil and walnut oil for salad dressings
Blended olive oil for cooking Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food
Rapeseed oil (the big plastic jugs labelled as "vegetable oil" in the supermarket) for frying as it has a much higher smoke point
Sesame oil for East Asian food

If I'm correct rapeseed oil is as beneficial as Olive, and if you have a look at the ingredients a lot of cheaper vegetable oils are in fact rapeseed oil

I was under the impression that rapeseed was the 'healthiest'

I use refined olive oil for most frying, coconut oil for frying eggs, peanut oil for deep frying (it has a very high smoke point), extra virgin olive oil for salads and sesame oil for most Asian food.
