Evening all, just after a few ideas on what you have for healthy evening snacks. Me and DH trying to cut out the nighttime crisps, sweets and chocolate Blush

Don't snack. Drink water.
If you feel you must eat, carrot sticks or celery or apple slices. Basically things you need to chew.

Homemade popcorn
Yogurt with fresh fruit (berries etc)
Frozen grapes
Home-made tortilla chips (cut a tortilla into triangles, bake in the oven) with salsa or hummus
Banana ice cream

Are you actually hungry though or is it a behaviour/routine that you've just fallen into?

Make sure you have a filling dinner, then no need to snack. If you struggle with that have a hot drink or clean your teeth and go to bed earlier.Could be fun!

I tend to snack in the evening usually because we eat dinner early to either way together before DH goes out to a late shift, or because we want to eat together before LO goes to bed as we think family mealtimes are important.
If I want something with crunch (where I would usually go for crisps), I now have carrot sticks or cucumber. If I'm fancying something sweet, rather than raiding DH's unhealthy stash, I usually go for grapes, kiwi, pineapple, any fruit really! Sometimes with a dollop of skyr on.
I don't feel bad about snacking in the evening because I eat generally pretty healthily. Dinner is generally a home cooked curry/stew/omlette, always veggie.
