If I make scones at home and want to freeze some, is it best to freeze them before or after they’re baked?

I have only ever frozen them after baking, but don't see why it wouldn't work "raw".

I sometimes cut them in half before freezing; this means they can be split and defrosted quickly in a toaster - great if you just want to defrost one or two for a quick snack, and works really well with cheese scones!

Don't freeze uncooked as the chemical reaction between the raising agents (SR Flour and Baking Powder) and the liquid will all be over by the time they are frozen so will not rise when you bake them. Cook then freeze.....it works well.
