Make black coffee, add brown sugar and stir, if you like it sweet. Let it cool, out in fridge for a while. Then add milk and ice when ready to drink it. You need to make it a couple of hours before you're going to drink it.

We use a cold brew coffee jug like this one www.amazon.co.uk/Hario-Mizudashi-Cold-Coffee-Brown/dp/B00IJ3O0Y2/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ref=plSrch&keywords=cold%20brew%20coffee%20maker&dpPl=1&dpID=41OzfvEcYtL&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&ie=UTF8&qid=1532787103&sr=8-3&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21
Put 80g ground coffee in the filter section, fill the jug with cold water and leave for 12-18 hours to brew. Then serve over ice with milk.

If you have a coffee machine, make a shot of espresso and then top up with ice and whole milk for an iced latte.

Wow, amazing how the recipes can differ - many thanks.

Also appreciate the link to the coffee machine.

Can you also add ice-cream to these recipes?

We have this one and it's great: www.delonghi.com/en-gb/products/coffee/coffee-makers/pump-espresso/dedica-style-ec-685bk-0132106170

You could definitely add ice cream. You could then blend it with ice to make a Frappuccino style drink.

I like it simple though with just espresso, milk and ice.

Freeze a cup worth of milk (any type will do, skimmed, whole, almond, soya) in an ice cube tray, or a wide and flat container. When frozen, pop out into a blender, add a tsp of coffee powder, or a shot(espresso) of coffee from a coffee machine . Add in stevia drops or sugar if wanted and blend. I make this a lot. Yum!

I like this spectacularly simple one:

Boil kettle. Put a teaspoon and a half of instant coffee in a glass. Add about half an inch of boiling water - just enough to be able to dissolve the coffee. Add half milk and half iced water, plus a spoonful of vanilla or coffee icecream.

Nice with a glug of Baileys in it too!
