This has probably been done before...
My little one is nearly 18 months old, I feel like she gets the same meals all the time. We do Macaroni cheese, mild curries, chilli, mince and tatties, beans on toast, houmous and veg. She loves a variety but I've run out of ideas. It feels like same old same old every day.
Help me out please! 🙏

Our lunches (me, DD1 who is 2 & DD2 who is 8mo) tend to be:
Soup - we make it together which DD loves
Eggybread
Wraps
Omelettes - we make little ones using a muffin tray that are great for little hands
Pastry pinwheels - lots of fun to make together
Tuna croquettes
Jacket spuds

Dinner is all 4 of us:
Fajitas
Fish pie
Meatballs & pasta
Fish fillets/fishfingers & veg
Chicken and ratatouille
Cottage pie
Toad in the hole (kids find it hilarious)
Homemade pizzas
Arancini
Quiche

My 2 year old daughter enjoys eating pasta. So her mum makes her a pesto pasta with peas. She likes it a lot.

These were my top recipes when my DC were that age. Most of them take less than 30mins to make and use as few pots and pans as possible! Lots of them have peas because it was always so easy to have a big bag of peas in the freezer.

My DS went through a phase of liking Yorkshire puddings. I had to turn to Aunt Bessie for help with that one.

Thank you lovely lot for the suggestions! I'll add them to my list of things to try out and try to widen our repertoire a bit.
Tonight was chicken fried rice with veggies, mostly enjoyed i think. The dog enjoyed some too🐶

We’re having a sausage tray bake tonight, just cut sausages lengthways before serving at that age to reduce the choking risk Smile
