Home cooking basics course in/near London?

Hi there,

I’m looking for some sort of short cookery course for DH who wants to learn to cook but finds it really hard to follow written recipes. He doesn’t have much of a grasp on basic methods and techniques and would just like to be able to have 5 ish go-to family friendly recipes to confidently cook.

Does anyone know of such a thing? Google has drawn a blank, other than something that is too long (8 weeks) And way out of our budget. I was hoping for 3 or 4 sessions.

How about trying your local college evening classes?

Sorry evenings got away from me there! We live in east London budget is little as possible; not more than a couple of hundred quid I think. Good idea to check the colleges thank you!
