Boring thread - does anyone vacuum seal their food for freezing?

We occasionally do for things like meat and fish - but we get our butcher to do it for us rather than having a machine as it would just end up being another one of "those gadgets" that would be used with much enthusiasm for the first few weeks and then go into the cupboard to collect dust - but it very much comes down to whether you think you would get value from it

We're very nearly down to the dregs of our large chest freezer and when we empty it we will do a huge meat shop from the butcher to last 6 months. Last time e we did this I just portioned the meat and put it in Ikea freezer bags and then discovered that a couple of things got freezer burn and a few things we thought were something ended up as being something else.
I have seen the vacuum sealing machined on amazon for a decent price and thought this might be a better way to do it, it would also save space too surely?
I also buy veg from Aldi when it's on super 6 and blanch and freeze so would use it for this too.

Does anyone use one for food storage?
