We're very nearly down to the dregs of our large chest freezer and when we empty it we will do a huge meat shop from the butcher to last 6 months. Last time e we did this I just portioned the meat and put it in Ikea freezer bags and then discovered that a couple of things got freezer burn and a few things we thought were something ended up as being something else.
I have seen the vacuum sealing machined on amazon for a decent price and thought this might be a better way to do it, it would also save space too surely?
I also buy veg from Aldi when it's on super 6 and blanch and freeze so would use it for this too.
Does anyone use one for food storage?
