So online shop substituted grated cheddar for grated parmesan.... any idea what to do with it? Any recipes? I've only ever used it sprinkled on Bolognese. Thanks!

Use it in freshly made pesto.

If anyone is vegetarian, you’ll need to check it’s a veggie version though. Most Parmesan isn’t.

Ohhhh definitely try it in Italian chicken. It's one of our family favourites.

It freezes well, so you can have it handy 'in the store cupboard' for whenever you want to Bolognaise-sprinkle.

Any pasta dish, or risotto, or any chicken dish.

Roast broccoli with some garlic and Parmesan is delicious too.

Parmesan and chicken is a match made in heaven. www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/5987/parmesan-spring-chicken but surprisingly it works really well as with pork steaks realfood.tesco.com/recipes/parmesan-crusted-pork-steaks-with-rocket-dressing.html
This is a ridiculously easy recipe with very few ingredients for a gorgeous summery courgette and Parmesan tart www.olivemagazine.com/recipes/family/courgette-and-parmesan-tart/ and you can also use it in a quiche or frittata www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/6295/roasted-tomato-basil-and-parmesan-quiche

Make a proper homemade pasta carbonara. It needs a whole pile of Parmesan (25g per person, which is a lot to grate off a block) and will probably use up your whole bag! This is a good recipe, just sub your grated parmesan for the pecorino as well.
