ROYAL WEDDING CAKE RECIPE???!!!

anyone else royal wedding mad atm??!

I'm throwing a party for dh and friends on the day (obv) and i am desperate to make the same cake that megan and harry have ... but i can't seem to find the recipe anywhere!!

now, i know that this might be top secret stuff, but i wanted to know if any of you savvy bakers had worked out a similar recipe? apparently, it's a lemon elderflower cake with special buttercream frosting. can anyone think of any similar recipes? anyone had any guesses??

I have just seen a lemon and elderflower cake recipe on the hobbycraft blog if you still need a recipe

225g self raising flour
225g sugar
225g marg
4 eggs
2 lemon rinds
Elderflower cordial I used 2 cap fulls in the cake mix
Mix all together bake for around 30 mins

100 ml Elderflower cordial mixed with the juice of 2 lemons

Skewer lots of holes into cake once cooked and pour over juice sprinkle sugar over top
