photo cake topper

I'm thinking of getting a photo cake topper (not the cake just the topper) for my sister's birthday cake which I am making but there are so many companies I dont know which one to go with.
Does anyone have any experience purchasing one?

What style are you looking for? Etsy would be good to check as lots of reviews.

Having said that, it would be fairly easy to make. Get a Polaroid style print out, punch two holes in top corner and thread some mini bunting/pretty rope through. Attach ends to two painted skewers.
