Just did Jamie's 5 ingredient chicken pot pie and HAVE about a 5 inch width of puff pastry left . What can I make? I've got some milk chocolate, wrinkly Apple, strawberries, tinned pears, almonds, raspberry jam... can I do anything?

Ok, cheese straws. I shall Google.

Any ideas for something sweet? Sugar and cinnamon straws?

Mix brown sugar with some cinnamon, cut pastry into strips, twist them and scatter cinnamon sugar over and bake for ten mins or so

Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on, roll it up tucking the short edge in, slice into rounds , lay flat on a baking sheet and bake.

We sometimes make a sort of puff pasty jam tart cross over. Literally fork down a section in the pastry, fill with a big dollop of jam and bake. Delicious!

Thank you! This is the slightly overcooked result. I went sugar and cinnamon rather than cheese. Sweet tooth me.

Those were so easy! I bet a bit of cheese with bacon would also be super tasty. Puff pastry is a revelation.

Anchovy paste twists are fab too, as are cheese and mustard!

@AdaColeman tell me more about these anchovy paste twists please! Do you use garlic or tomato sauce too?
