Baking a camembert? never done it before

Oh I shouldn't have read this. Really want a bloody Camembert now ☹️

Hmm I went to the British Heart Foundation Charity Shop & bought 2 bookcases, a dressing table and a chest of drawers

All of her furniture in our old house was fitted/built in - so she has a bed and a wardrobe here

& the shoes alone will fill more than one of the bookcases!! Text books and folders less so - but musical scores may fill a few shelves wink

Hmm.. I too need to buy several bookcases for all uni-returner DD1's books, currently in piles in her bedroom and the study. Since DD2 is doing the same in June and also needs a bookcase and chest of drawers I'm in the market for furniture too. I can recommend Roseland.

Sorry TwitterQ - will my lunch make it better or worse? I'm having a steak & onion baguette?

We are just waiting for some furniture to be delivered (and I gave the downstairs loo the first coat of paint) & I am starving, but no sooner than I cook it the furniture will arrive

DD is moving home after college this July (unless she gets a job) so I'm getting new furniture for all the crap she will be brining home with her......

It's a good idea to take it out of its box and put it in a dish of some sort before baking even if it the container is (apparently) wood as the glue holding the box together can melt in the heat of the oven.
The resulting sea of hot runny cheese flowing all over the oven shelves and floor can have a major effect on your plans for the rest of the day. And is also a waste of cheese.

Prob a bit of garlic then I can have garlic bread (I'm dairy free)

You are welcome Twitterqueen - are you in Suffolk? Even tho' DH is on a high calorie diet the whole cheese might be a bit much for him....

It is in cardboard however so I thought a ramekin/dish of some sort

I make large slits in the crust and drizzle over a little olive oil. I've do 20 mins at 220 but I've got a cerice baker with lid.

You need expert guidance from me wink. will be round soon with soft French baguette. Honey with the rosemary works well too. I cut a big cross in the top of it, peel back the skin on each quarter about half-way, drizzle honey and stuff rosemary sprigs in.

Cook it in the box it came in, take the plastic of first obviously then in the oven at 180 for 20 minutes.
Stab the top first and add some garlic if you fancy but then it’ll be perfect. Dippy cheese is a food group in my house grin

Leave it in the base that it comes in, insert random slithers of garlic into the top, maybe some rosemary too if you have it. Cook at about 160 degrees for 15 minutes or so.

DD bought a 250 g camembert at Easter and went back to college before eating it

It is now near it's eat by date so DH is having it for lunch

How do I bake it?
