pastry can do some fun savoury or sweet ones.
look up pastry palmier.go great with strawberries and cream!
meatballs and stuff some of them with cheese.
a proper tiered cake.
how about donning aprons and chet "whites" and planning printing out a menu for a dishy three course meal.
you could do a start of little tartlets or mini pizza bites.blini.
then some lamb chop or chicken thighs or a pie and make all the cheffie sweeps and wipes and posh looks.then a set of pudding baked in pots or individual cheesecake etc.then they could serve it all porper for you and family.
mini pies in muffin tins.
treacle tart.
savoury cheese and bacon scone or muffins.
hassel back potatos and steak.
American pancake.
have they any easter choc could make some melt I nthe middle puds with them or chuck it all in choc fridge cake.

Burgers. You can add egg, herbs, seasoning, onions, chillies etc to minced beef.

Look on Pinterest for the the twisted dough sticks in a star surrounding baked Brie. It’s fab!
How old are the children, what sort of things have they done before?

Quesadillas - basically a wrap folded over, filled with cheese and nice bits and cooked in a dry non-stick pan until the cheese melts.

Naan or flatbreads are nice to do too.

Pasties? Make shortcrust pastry from scratch.

If you buy filo pastry, samosas or Greek spanakopita are fun to make.

Pizza? Dd likes to make the dough and enjoys chopping and grating.

That isn't a cake or biscuits.

Want to do some fun cooking that feels like a treat/proper activity this holidays with the DC. They already help with standard meals quite a lot so are reasonably skilled (although small). Maybe something savoury but still feels treat like.
