Both DH and I are vegetarians. I am getting bored with my limited recipes that I cook and I am sick of falling back on Quorn and things out of packets.

So some online recipes or cookbooks that you have tested would be most helpful. Thanks.

Hugh Fernley Whittingstall's Everyday Veg is good for basic veggie food....if you don't have a very big repertoire.

Thanks, I will have a look at it. :)

Fresh India by Meera Sodha is the best cookbook I’ve ever owned. Clear instructions and lovely anecdotes and most importantly everything tastes freaking amazing.

Thug kitchen is a very strong contender for second place- so funny.

PINTEREST.

Pinterest is your friend. All my new recipes come from Pinterest, Good Housekeeping or the Sainsbury's magazine...

I'd also recommend HFW's 'Everyday Veg'. The recipes are very simple and rely on fresh seasonal ingredients. I was just flipping through it today in fact looking for inspiration:)

The Middle Eastern Vegetarian Cookbook - I have many cookbooks and this is without a doubt my favourite.

Two YouTube channels with websites worth watching all day - hot for food and The Edgy Veg. Both amazing vegan food, both just bringing out books. It’s amazing what can be made vegan/veggie.

Wow guys, this is brilliant. Thank you all so much! I will be heading to Amazon and Youtube to check them all out! :)

Order them from the library and then buy the ones you like. Veggiestan is good as is the River Cottage veg book. I also like The Bean Book and Elly Pear's Fast Days & Feast Days (pescatarian). Italian Food Forever is also nice for ideas- www.italianfoodforever.com/. Love a cookbook!

Ooh very true. Brillant idea, Tickety! I do have a library card!
