Whole tandoori chicken - char cooked on a bbq despite a small sprinkle of snow. Fantastic.

I made a curry with all left over vegetables (green beans, carrots, cauliflower, peppers) chicken, aubergine, and curry powder/tin tomato/a bit of yogurt with rice. The kids wolfed it down and my vegetable drawer is now empty, waiting for food delivery between 9 and 10!

Pork chops in a mustard cream sauce, green beans, braised red cabbage, and some roast potatoes for DH

We got a Simply Cook £3 box offer so we had Cajun chicken with red pepper sweet potato mash (which had bacon & courgette in it). Very tasty.

I made Nigella's pantry paella bur used a mixture of chicken and pork instead of the pork and seafood (DH's aversion). As always, very tasty.
