I got a telling off today from 17 year old DS for putting a Nature Valley protein bar in his lunch box.
(yes he could make his own, but it’s a good deal for me as he does other house jobs while I do packed lunches- he does pull his ownweight)
He’s at school for a long day and doing Alevels so stress is a bit high. He’s taken up running too. He’s tall and thin and is more concerned with his teeth than weight.
He’s vegetarian.
Sandwiches and wraps I’m ok with. It’s other stuff. He eats loads.
Sausage rolls? Hot cross buns? He eats all fruit. I tried to explain that there is sugar in loads of things and at least the muesli type bars have a few added nutrients.
Any ideas most welcome
