I've made this twice now, planned to have people round tonight but plans have fallen through so it's just me and the cheesecakeGrin

I wonder how much of it I'll get through till the kids come back in the morning!

Sorry meant to put in in op , if you google nigella Nutella cheesecake it comes up.

It's really easy to make! Needs at least 4 hours in the fridge so that it's not sloppy. Tastes amazing!

This looks so nice that I'm going to make it tomorrow! Did you use chopped hazelnuts on top? I can't tell.

Also, did you smash the eggs with a rolling pin?

I put hazelnuts on it last time and it was lovely but had a bag of mini eggs on the side and thought I'd use them instead (i did smash them up a bit Smile) i prefer it with the eggs tbh adds a nice texture and even more chocolate!

Me again (I'm obsessed!) I had a second attempt at our Nutella Cheesecake yesterday and used mascarpone rather than cream cheese.

It was MUCH more structurally sound and didn't have the hint of cheese which the first one had. Lots more calories per slice (but you're failing your diet if you're making one of these anyway) and I'd recommend little slices if you don't want to feel sick!

It looks amazing though...!

def best to use mascarpone!

I think we need a little photo-story of your evenings with the cheesecakes!

@MsHomeSlice it's not a pretty sight! Three month old in one arm, cheesecake in the other Grin

How much mascarpone did you use? I'm making another one tomorrow for a family gathering, looks good in pics grammargirl!

750g and two tubs of Nutella...but only because I wanted it to be taller as it was a centrepiece. If there's a next one, I'll probably thicken the base too.
