Pork mince?!

I woke up this morning really looking forward to the spag bol I was going to make tonight. I've checked on the mince defrosting in the fridge and it turns out it's pork mince not beef! This may be a stupid question but can I still make my longed for spag bol? Will I even be able to taste the difference?? Thanks in advance 😊

Hi, lots of recipes for spag bol call for a mixture of pork and beef mince I think. Personally I would go ahead and use just the pork mince but make sure it's really really well browned and use lots of herbs and garlic , perhaps use a couple of beef Oxo cubes when browning it....

I've used pork mince in spag bol many a time - it's fine and makes a nice change. Sometimes I add a pinch of cayenne pepper to give it an extra kick too!

Pork mince in spagbol is yum

I add a drop of Belazu balsamic vinegar (it’s more like syrup)

Thank you, some good tips there. I'm guessing it's probably healthier than beef mince so if it turns out lovely it's win win!
