Does anyone know if musclefood is Paleo friendly? They say the meat (most of it) is 'grass-fed' Is that enough to make it Paleo? It's so cheap I feel it's questionable.

I'm investigating Paleo as an option for me.

any shop that sells meat so cheap I view with suspicion tbh...

That seems right.

Their website says this: www.musclefood.com/quality-guaranteed/

Does anyone know if they can say this freely, even if it is incorrect, without ramifications?

We love love love muscle food. The chicken breast are amazing. They don't release any water or anything. The fajita packs are also great, taste great and are so quick to eat.

I've heard good things MrsMac, and I'd love to be able to rely on their claims.

Have you tried anything else of theirs?

@Soyalatteforme

Yeah, meatballs, sausages, mince, burgers, steaks, the high protein garlic bread (it's a bit weird), chicken burgers, the 5% fat mince is quite finely minced so more like a burger. You have to spend a bit of time breaking it down. So I normally just buy from supermarket.

Always arrives on time, always stays fresh in its cold box even if we're at work. Really happy with the service. It saves us a small fortune. We get through chicken really quickly and I feel reassured that even if I oven cook it it's not swimming in that horrible white watery stuff.

They can't say it if it's not true. It would be a trading standards offence.
They're a pretty well known company, so couldn't really get away with misleading claims on their website.

Thanks both. I'm going to try their chicken I think.

Hoping to be impressed as they seem to have great deals!

I’ve had a poor experience with them in the past - my ‘British’ products arrived but were in fact from Romania, Poland and somewhere else. Look online for local butchers doing the same kind of thing, a little bit more expensive maybe but better quality.

It's a very nice company to get meat. I find it everywhere so as such a well known company I'd think they should be reputable.
