I have to say their meat is lovely, packaged well and lasts- no excess water etc. I really rate it.

I had a really bad experience with this company. Most of the meat itself was good quality but my items arrived covered in blood from a leaking package twice. First time it was all raw meat and we just chucked out the ripped package and they said they'd send us a replacement in next delivery but the second time it was meat and veg and we weren't cooking some of the veg. We couldn't tell what was opened and what wasn't so we got rid of it all. Took a lot of arguing and threats of trading standards until they gave us a refund. And they won't stop texting and emailing me with offers even though they've said they'll take me off the lists. I think there are better companies like this out there but the offers are good.

Does anyone need this much meat in one go? Sure you can freeze it, but the 2 meat eating members of our family would take an awful long time to get through all this.

Well that is what you do. I admit I haven't purchased anything for a while but I tend to do an 'offer' shop and freeze it. Lasts ages.

I ordered from this company on an offer a few months ago. It was ok but I wouldn’t re order.
Now I get spam texts from them that really annoy me.

Ooh thisooks like a good deal.

Am on a high protein diet and training so this would save me constantly going to the shops.

It's a good deal.but lots of water in the meat (each package declares the added water) so not quite the volume it appears at first.

Burgers etc are really tasty though. Worth a try imo.

Sorry, meant to say, I wouldn't pat full price though.

I'd like to know where their meat comes from? Does anyone have any idea?

We had their Christmas hamper and it was excellent. Turkey was great. Haven't even eaten the bubble and squeak or the chipolatas yet there was so much!

Think I might order this - would last us months so I would just freeze it.

I also order regularly from muscle foods-their chicken breasts are consistently good and are always really well trimmed. The 5% fat minced beef is great too.
I bought a beef fillet from there for our Xmas dinner -2kg for £39 and it was beautiful- last year I paid £60 for 1kg from my butcher!

I wouldn't buy non free range chicken however cheap it is.

Just checked their site and the chicken fillets are from barn raised chickens (not caged). They also have an organic range as well as red reactor assured and halal. I think it's probably better quality and better welfare standards than you'd get for the same price from the supermarkets, so that's surely a good thing?!

I looked at muscle foods a while back but wasn’t able to figure out the free range/origins of the meat so didn’t actually order

We regularly order from muscle foods and my experience is the opposite from a PP who said it's full of water - I find that minimal water comes out and all very good quality. Chicken breasts always well trimmed, comes in a huge pack of approx 12 and we open and freeze them seperately. The chicken burgers, beef burgers and hache steaks are excellent. Also the minced beef.

I I can’t find enough about the provenance for this. It doesn’t actually say where it comes from.

I tried to follow the link but my system says it's not a secure site to use

Oh, small thing but it did annoy me. Once you buy they send regular text offers. You can text back to request they stop but there is an undisclosed charge Hmm

I did this offer and I have enjoyed everything we have tried so far. The rump steak was the best I have ever had and we usually buy from our local butcher. But dear god the texts, hadn't even had a chance to try the meat before they are emailing and texting asking me to review it.
