I got my kitchenaid in November and I love it so much! The biggest improvement I’ve found is with bread, pastries etc more do than cakes. We’re eating far too much pizza since I had it as the dough it makes us honestly better than most pizzerias. I’m making different types of bread a couple of times a week, and things like Danish pastry doughs are so much easier.

My cakes are lovely and light and things like buttercream filling are so much easier to get right.

Because they are beautiful ! I love mine.
As above they are great for bread, I'm too lazy to knead and some recipes are too wet to make by hand.

I have a Kenwood chef which comes with a blender jug and food processor attachments. I've also bought the mini grinder and ice cream maker attachments.
I use it loads, cakes, bread and pizza dough, meringues, grinding spices and coffee, chopping and slicing veg, blending soups and smoothies.

The kitchen aid is not a food processor. It looks beautiful but a Magimix will do the same thing as far as I can see.

kitchen aid is overrated imo.
imo a kenwood chef or bosch mum work better, are more versatile and don't take up as much room (and are half the price).

I have extra bowls and whisks so I can do what I need without washing up in between

frazzled I use the Jamie Oliver recipe and just chuck it in until it’s nice and stretchy then leave it to
prove. I’ve even frozen it and it’s still nice, just not quite as light.

Get yourself a Vitamix - problem solved.
For my perfect Vitamin baking, I place the eggs (one at time); butter, sugar, essence, baking powder, baking soda, fresh lemon juice, cinnamon, spices into the Vitamix, blend for a 1 minute or less and the liquid is perfect.
Sift the flour and mix the two slowly - baking completed in less than 20 minutes.
I also have a Kitchen Aid, so if I am feeling real lazy, I place the flour into the bowl, put it on mix and slowly pour the liquid.
Yes a Vitamix is expensive, but I believe in buying quality over quantity any day.
Their customer service put all other companies to shame - second to one.

Kitchen aid is Dough, whipping eg buttercream and eggs . Magimix is food processing - muffins cookies pastry dough. And grating .
Hand held is smaller quick things...
