It's not something we would normally use or have in the house. Leftover from making ganache.
Those of us with a sweet tooth everyone don't tend to like fatty foods, and those of us who like fat need to get back on the LCHF wagon after the excesses of the season.
Once term begins again normal service will be resumed in the kitchen. Shall I do something with the cream today for one last excessive indulgence, or shall I just be sensible and freeze it in cubes to use up in my LCHF recipes later on?
For full disclosure: today's already marked for continued indulgence - a big roast dinner and a huge trifle.
