More chicken advice!

I'd like to cook 2 chickens tonight to make gravy which I will freeze for Xmas day. I want to also serve slices of chicken breast as an alternative to the turkey. What's the best way to freeze cooked chicken? Whole breasts/carved/in gravy/not in gravy?? Help!!
In my work the carved turkey stored in gravy all broke up. I don't want that to happen!
