Anyone got an airfryer for cooking chips, fries?

My DS loves fries and chips and we often bake them in the oven. We are very interested in the airfryers as you only need like 1/2-1 tbsp of oil and that it and fresh potatoe chips.
We have looked at Tefal Actifry but would love something cheaper. Both Tefal and Breville seem to me doing the same job but Breville is £30.00 cheaper.
If anyone has a good airfryer to recommend I would really appreciate to hear your experience. I would also like to bake other vegetables and our oven is electric so a more cost-effective electric appliance would be more welcome .

Thank you.

I got one from b&m
It's ok can't fit many chips in it though.

You need to stay ontop of cleaning them aswell

Swizzle, so is it just big enough for one person, e.g. a child? Which brand did you go for?

Is cleaning too complicated? I thought you there's a removable bowl which you wash and that's it. Hehe.

I've got an actifry, it's a doddly to clean, big capacity, although must admit that despite best intentions I've only cooked chips in it!

I think I would hate too much cleaning but I would be OK as I really want healthier chips. Also we only have electrical heating so using oven is quite costly.

I have the signature manual air fryer. I do not recommend!

It's hard to clean. I would go with one that has the glass bowl. Maybe purchase take home have a look what you can fit in it and how easy it is
To remove to
Clean. You have to clean after each go anyway or else it will build up.

B&m have another one that looks easy to clean as it has a big glass bowel thing. Didn't see if it said removable though.

I have a philips one. I picked the smaller one which is not ideal for families of more than 3. Easy to clean but a bit noisy. I bought mine in a black Friday sale.

I also like the idea of the multicooker. There's some good stuff but costs at least £150.00.
