Somebody on here recommended their lentil and root vege casserole. Dp made it the other day and it was really nice.
He's also made this banana bread which is excellent.

Does anybody have any res for straightforward veggie recipes from this site for him to try? He's getting more confident, but it can't be too complex. No tomatoes, please!

My favourite food site! After my recipe books, it is my first port of call for recipes. I can recommend the sweet potato and carrot soup.

Made this risotto yesterday (on the recommendation from the fella on the fish counter) it was sooooo easy and soooo tasty! Even the kids loved it (16mth and 3.5yrs).

If you find a recipe on there you like and don't think you would be able to replicate it without looking at the recipe again WRITE IT DOWN

Many of the recipes on there are 'on license' (whatever the fuck that means) and once the license runs out the recipe goes poof.

I found this out when an awesome chocolate truffle recipe disappeared a while ago. I've tried and failed to recreate it from memory and it's never as good. No amount of googling has come up with anything similar Sad

I otherwise LOVE the GF website and it's my go to for inspiration.

I'd forgotten about this thread!

Soup sounds good; I don't eat fish. And thanks for the warning about disappearing recipes.
