Rotisserie chicken

I've got some friends coming over for food/strictly tomorrow but I'm busy all day until about an hour before they arrive. DH has offered to make a roast for us (yay for DH!). Thats great but as he is a veggy it will be a veggy roast and I thought I'd buy a chicken on the way home and put it in the oven as soon as I get in while he sorts the rest. Then I thought about rotisserie chicken. I had some at MIL a while ago and it was way yummier than my bog standard roast chicken. If I buy one on the way home will it stay hot enough until we eat (about an hour/ hour and a half)? Can I pop it in the oven at the last minute to heat through again?

Cover it in hot gravy on hot plates and ypu won’t notice! I wouldn’t put it in the oven incase it dries out.
