Can you put it on a chopping board/large plate/tray and then cling film around it?

Oh just though you could also use a pizza tray or large cooking rectangle tray as the base and then cling around that.

It's got incredibly squishy icing, a cream cheese one whipped over the ENTIRE course of an episode of the good wife. Cling film will be disasterous. I'll have to cut it in two. But it's so pretty!!!

The shops are open. Can't you go any buy one of those big plastic cake stands with huge dome things? Eek you'll tell me you are in the Highlands!

Further north than the highlands... it's a 1.5 hour boat to my nearest Tesco!!
