Ours run Friday-thursday. We are doing:
Fri: turkey burgers with sweet potato wedges, broccoli and sweetcorn
Sat: homemade pizza with various toppings
Sun: roast chicken, Apple braised red cabbage, carrots, parsnips, roast potatoes, broccoli, peas, cauliflower cheese, gravy.
Mon: chicken fajitas
Tues: something from the freezer
Wed: gnocchi in a tomato and basil sauce
Thurs: Thai prawn curry and rice
F: Zanzibar Curry
S: Minced Lamb and rosemary ragu with penne (nice change from beef mince)
S: Cajun cod with sweet potato mash and shredded spring greens
M: Morrocan beef stew
T: Wild mushroom fettuccine and pea shoot salad
W: Dukkah chicken and roast veg
T: Vegetable and mushroom fajitas with avocado smash.
Trying out a few hello fresh recipes - not buying the boxes (I have most of the spices and couldn't afford their prices) but the quite a few of the recipes on their Australian and UK seem easy, quick and tasty.
So far for the upcoming week we have..
Spaghetti and meatballs.
Chicken curry and rice.
Chilli with sweet potato wedges.
Jackets with various fillings.
Chicken and asparagus pie with new potatoes and veg.
Starting tonight :
Tacos stuffed with whatever is in the fridge / salad
Nando’s takeaway ( mushroom and halloumi burgers )
Roast ( at my mums)
Smoked haddock on mixed veg rice
That’s as far as I’ve got.
These look like such good meals! I'm in awe.
At a bonfire night tonight so will have a burger/sausage from the bbq.
Sat - jacket pot
Sun - Stew
Mon- chicken & cashews (a slow cooker recipe)
Tues - chilli
Weds - fry up
We run Thurs- Wed
Their salmon fillets and noodles with stir fried veg
Fri burgers, chips and salad
Sat tuna steak roasted butternut squash and red onion + corn on cob
Sun chicken casserole, veg and roast parsnips
Mon Thai green curry, rice + naan bread
Tue steak mash and peas (busy day though, may need to find something from freezer)
Wed haddock(going to try and bread it) rice and salad
Mine is until Monday (inclusive)
Tonight -Takeaway (Chinese). We always have a takeaway or chippy tea the first Friday of the month.
Sat - DD is making a Goan fish curry
Sun - have friends coming for Sun dinner, am doing roast beef and all the trimmings
Mon - sausage casserole, mash and veg (only me and DD in and I know there's a two portion of the casserole in the freezer.
I shall do next weeks meal plan in bed later or in the morning.
Sun-Sausage sarnies and tinned soup
Tues-Samosas, chips, peas and curry sauce
Bit of a mish mash as I'm skint and also trying to use up bits from the cupboards/freezer
Friday - roast duck, braised red cabbage, roast vegetables and broccoli
Sat - steak and ale pie
Sunday - chicken satay with noodles
Monday - eating out
Tuesday- duck cottage pie (leftovers from roast)
Wednesday - chilli
Thursday - ox cheeks
S: Chicken and Chorizo Paella
M: chicken fajita
T: Cajun chicken pasta
W: paprika Pork
T: beef stir fry
F: Turkey and bacon Pasta bake
S: roast turkey dinner
M: marinated portebello mushrooms, cauli mash and roast sprouts and radishes
T: out for dinner
W: african peanut stew
T: chickpea filo pie
F: I'm flying to NYC solo so am booked in for a new vegan pizza restaurant!
S-M: more vegan NYC food, can't bloody wait (DH and DC will likely eat pizza and meat while I'm gone)
Tonight: pasta in a spicy tomato sauce, with chorizo, red onions, sweetcorn & cheese
Tomorrow: roast chicken, mash and veg - maybe stuffing
Friday: chicken noodle soup
Saturday: steak, chips and veg
Sunday: roast beef, roasties, mashed carrot and swede, broccoli, cabbage stir fried with bacon, roasted carrots/ parsnips, cauliflower cheese, stuffing and Yorkshires got a bit carried away shopping for the roast this week
Then next week probs eating a ton of leftovers!
Tonight chicken fajitas, guacamole etc
Sausage pepper onion bake
Filled pasta with kale and asparagus
F: Lamb curry,spinach, basmati rice, raita, pickles etc
S: Chermoula chicken, orzo, spinach, courgettes.
S: Asian omelette - mushroom, pak choy, beansprouts etc
M:Chicken, leek, mushroom, thyme, mustard, creme fraiche with brown rice and peashoot salad
T: Minced beef, peppers, courgettes, currants, tomatoes, flaked almonds spiced with ras el hanout and served with bulghar (harissa and yoghurt on the side)
W: Spinach and feta stuffed chicken, sweet potato mash, green salad
T: Fettucine ( sauce made from whatever is left in veg drawer)
Thur - chilli con carne, rice and tortilla chips
Fri - baked pork chops, wedges, salad and coleslaw
Sat - chicken fajitas
Sun - gammon, cauliflower cheese, carrots, broccoli, roasties
Mon - jackets with tuna and sweetcorn
Tue - chicken dippers, chips and peas
Wed - pasta with butter and cheese/something on toast
Bit skint this week so few cheap meals in there to get us through to pay day!
Tonight: veggie chilli
Tomorrow: out to mums so unsure
Saturday m: spinach and paneer curry
Sunday: veggie roast dinner
Monday: mushroom and lentil bolognese
Tuesday: spring veg salad
Wednesday: my friend is cooking
Thursday: stir fry.
Ita veggie week here. Want to see how much of a difference no meat makes on the bill.

Mon: tofu thai green curry
Tues: spaghetti squash and BBQ jackfruit
Weds: chickpea and pumpkin pie, kale salad
Thurs: leftovers (there are tons)
Fri: at a cookbook launch with treats
Sat: Caribbean tofu and coconut rice
Coffe- could I bother you for the recipes for autumn bowl and the onion miso soup? One because I’m intrigued and the other sounds lovely!

Tuesday- Spring onion and ginger slow cooked chicken and broth
Wed- Slow braised red onion pasta
Thursday-Roast chicken , Cauliflower cheese, roast carrots , leeks and potatoes
Fri- Mushroom and chestnut creamy baked pasta
Sunday- nigellas baked pumpkin stuffed with wild rice and a tomato sauce
Tuesday - Dirty Rice
Wednesday - Brown rice Mujadara with a fried egg
Thursday - Sweet tomato and aubergine rigatoni
Friday - Chermoula marinated seabags with olives and preserved lemon
Saturday - Steak chips onions and mushroom
Sunday - Lambchetta with mash
Monday Coq au vin
Tueday - Sausage and bean casserole
Wednesday - Thai omelette stuffed with pork
Cooking Goan curry sounds lovely. Orange thanks for reminding me that I like Mujadara. A forgotten old fave to add back into the repertoire.
F: Rosemary and Garlic marinated lamb chop.Roast mediterrean veg with feta. Lemon roasted new potatoes.
S: Gnocchi, cavolo nero, fennel sausage, tomato, mozzarella
S: Baby corn , green bean and coconut curry
M:Z'aatar chicken. Bulghar wheat with mushrooms, feta and dill
T: Swedish hash (carrot, celeriac, potatoes, beets, dill etc)Poached egg
w: Parma ham wrapped cod, cavolo nero, lemon, crushed new potatoes
T: Milanese chicken with either fresh made pesto or tomato sauce (depending if I can get nice Basil/toms) and spaghetti

Sun - roast lamb, roast potatoes & veg
Mon - tagliatelle, smoked salmon and lemon cream sauce with broccoli
Tue - chicken kebabs with peppers and mushroom. Rice and peas
Wed - omelette with various fillings
Thurs - chilli with rice and salsa
Fri - no idea haven’t got that far!
- Venison sausage casserole with root veg mash and savoy cabbage cooked with bacon
- Chickpea and spinach curry
- Harissa smoked mackerel with salad
- Baked sweet potato with feta and pumkin seeds warm salad
- Chicken and peppers tray bake with cous cous
- Thai meal out
