I'm having people over tomorrow teatime and fancy doing something in the slow cooker as am pit visiting family in the day.

One person doesn't eat beef or lamb so I think I'll do chicken or Pork?

Any nice ideas appreciated thlsmile

Pulled pork maybe with coleslaw, nice buns, salad maybe. It's quick and easy

Pork shoulder cubed with chorizo and butter beans or potatoes, onion, garlic and paprika.

Pulled pork.
If you want to use chicken I'd suggest using breast meat, not an entire chicken. Parts of the chicken already come out so juicy that some times slow cooking it can turn it to mush. Pork just comes out succulent, so it's always the sure bet

Is pulled pork done with cola?

I have never done it with cola but you can!

This is the one I've done. I got 2 joints of pork shoulder and doubled sauce recipe. I can always reduce it if there's too much sauce

Kateandme I'm not keen myself tbh. It's the texture. But in crusty bread it'll be ok. I'm doing baked salmon too love that
