Frozen chicken breast, recomdations please

I like to buy fresh at the butchers where possible, but looking for freezer back up plan....I was really dissapointed with the Tesco frozen chicken, can anyone recommend any decent frozen chicken breasts, or even the holy grail....ready sliced (but not pre cooked).

Wouldn’t it work best just to freeze some from the butcher? Or were you thinking already frozen would be cheaper?

Thanks Rogan, I was thinking it might be cheaper, and would be fine in store fries etc, where the chicken isn't the main event iyswim.

That makes sense. To actually answer, I haven’t found any that aren’t full of water and salt. Grr. Sorry to be no help at all!

All the frozen ones I've tried seem to be full of junk, but Iceland sell trays of 10 chicken breasts for £10. I tend to buy those, use one or two the same day and freeze the rest. It's not quite as nice as chicken from the butcher but it's alright in a pinch

I’ve bought chicken breasts from musclefood and frozen them- they tend to be much less watery than supermarket chicken.

I buy fresh chicken breasts individually wrapped from M&S then freeze and take out as and when needed.

cosco does fantastic larger meat trays.i would say the thighs(yes boneless too) are amazing.and often cheaper because of bulk.and I could recommend them enough we buy big tray and then freeze in two protion bags.we also do this with their whole side of salmon and there big trays of mince.

Thank you all so much for your recommendations, I must say the M&S ones sound especially fab for the pre-packed convenience, I didn't even know that was a thing!
