If you were hosting a breakfast party for ten, what would you make?
No big rush time wise.

Kedgeree
Devilled kidneys on toast (not to everyone's taste, of course!)
Bacon, pancakes and maple syrup
Choice of cereals
Grilled grapefruit topped with brown sugar
Brown and white toast, selection of jams and preserves
English Breakfast or Earl Grey tea, freshly brewed coffee

That reads a bit odd - when I say no rush, we have most of the morning if need be so doesn't need to be "instant" breakfast!

The classic bacon sandwich is always good.
For any vegetarians, some big portobello mushrooms for an alternative sandwich?

I'd also do granola or muesli and have natural yogurt, nuts, fruit compote and honey on offer.

Nice bread for toast, real butter, jams and marmalade.

Tea, coffee, orange juice.

Nigella does a croque monsieur bake which is quite nice. www.nigella.com/recipes/croque-monsieur-bake

I made mashed up avocado with lemon and chilli flakes on really good bread when I had a friend over for breakfast two weeks ago.

Shakshuka. Kedgeree. Pancakes, maple syrup and seriously crispy bacon. Pastries. Fresh orange juice. Oh my god I'm salivating right now, there is nothing better than proper breakfast/brunch. Can I come to your party please? Grin

I'd do a buffet type thing:

Good coffee
Orange juice
Bloody marys

Pastries
SoDo toast
Butter and Jams
Smashed avacado
Scrambled eggs
Chorizo fried up nice and crispy

Then people can make their own plate of eggs and avo etc.
