Help with roast beef + gravy?

Tomorrow is my very first attempt at a roast beef dinner at 31 years old Grin

Has anyone got any fail safe recipe or tips to make the perfect piece of roast beef?

And gravy please?

Yo try this link for internal cooking temp

If you use a bit of water and a stock cube in the roasting tin (while cooking your joint of beef) you can use the juices to make an amazing gravy by adding a bit of cornflour after cooking

I always follow Delia's timings on cooking the beef. Could you just cheat with the gravy? Smile
