No bake cheesecake?

Has anyone tried or made a no bake cheesecake?
I am attempting one today, as I have guests coming over for dinner. I'm not that great with desserts, but I thought I'd give this a go as there's no chance of burning it Grin

Its an oreo cheesecake, I've got all the bits I need (slightly bigger spring form tin than on the recipe, does that matter?) but I'm wondering if there's a reason they sound so easy to make?

We all generally like cheesecake, and some of the people prefer creamy cakes to sponge so it is to our taste but do they turn out a bit shit? Taste and texture wise?

I'm thinking of making an extra small blob of it just to taste it before I serve, but my usual self doubt is creeping in and winder if I should just go out and buy one instead Grin

It will be fine. Taste a blob- cook's perk!
