I NEED something chocolately and easy

I'm craving some kind of chocolately dessert that doesn't take ages to make

I have in the cupboard:
Dark choc
Pecans
Flour
Eggs
Butter
Golden syrup
Oats

Other miscellaneous baking items. Any ideas? I'm desperate for chocolate ganache but I have no cream and Dd is fast asleep so can't leave the house!

Or cake in a mug made in microwave, bet you'll find a recipe if you Google.

Self saucing choc pudding might satisfy ganache craving. Any cream cheese or biscuits?

70 seconds in the microwave quick enough for you? Grin

I don't even bother with the Nutella, it's not essential.

Ooooh there's a good housekeeping recipe for microwave brownies, great for a quick easy chocolate fix! I'll see if I can find the recipe.

Lunde,
Thanks for posting that recipe - I always wondered how to make it. I used to live in Sweden and my neighbour use to make it for me. Can't wait to try it!

Any cornflakes or Rice Krispies? Could have huge choccie krispie buns?

Love the recipes here, I'm going to save them for future chocolate emergencies. I also made my ganache the day after as was so desperate for it, and thought I'd post the recipe here as it was absolutely delicious and took no time:

1 bar good quality dark choc (green and blacks or similar)
250ml double cream
40g dark muscavado or dark brown sugar
Teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch salt
1 egg

Chop the chocolate in a food processor
Heat the cream, sugar and vanilla in a pan to boiling
Take off heat and whisk briefly to mix
Pour on top of chocolate in the food processor and leave to stand for one minute
Blend on low for a minute
Add the egg and blend for a further 30 seconds
Pour out into ramekins and chill for 2-6 hours.

Honestly divine! I topped with fresh raspberries as is very rich, but it's so good it can definitely be eaten on its own!

Late, but if anyone else is desperate, this is a lovely chocolate mug cake recipe. You can use normal flour, it doesn't make a difference.
