I'm probably posting this in the wrong section but I'm just wondering what you guys have for breakfast or what you have as a "healthy breakfast"
I have two pieces of toast everyday and it dawned on me that I have 14 slices of toast a week!!!!!

Ooh and yoghurt sometimes. The skyr pots or arla protein pots.

Stoneagemum Thu 17-Aug-17 20:33:52

Scrambled eggs & bacon, or strawberry, Greek yogurt & almond milk smoothie, or boiled eggs with cheese and/or ham slices, occasionally a couple of leftover sausages from night before.

At weekends some sort of fry up but more like brunch than breakfast.

wobblywonderwoman Thu 17-Aug-17 20:34:40

Mostly a banana in the car on the way to work

Bulletproof coffee (butter, coconut oil and espresso blended together)

SprinkleOfInsanity Thu 17-Aug-17 20:37:26

A cup of coffee followed by a choice of the following:

a (still green) banana and maybe a couple of ryvita

A couple slices of toast with either just butter, or butter & jam/marmalade

A breakfast bar with dried fruit in it (stoats or the like).

onemorecakeplease Thu 17-Aug-17 20:38:40

Usually a fruit smoothie with flax seeds and yoghurt.

Weekend the dc and I have duck eggs and toast or pancakes

GoingRogue Thu 17-Aug-17 20:40:39

2 x Weetabix with banana chopped up in it
Bran flakes or shreddies with fresh berries
Ready Brek with honey/banana/berries
Special K (though have given this up now I'm doing low-sugar).

I have Greek yoghurt and fruit at lunch or dinner so can't do it for breakfast. Usually have bread at lunchtime or later too, so avoid toast.

Don't have the time for/can't stomach eggs in the morning.

So am following for some new healthy ideas!

Mycarsmellsoflavender Thu 17-Aug-17 20:41:15

Oats with a handful of cornflakes, some dried sweetened cranberries, and sweetened soya milk. Most people in RL think it's weird, but it'll probably pass for quite normal on MN.

Ollivander84 Thu 17-Aug-17 20:45:28

I always wake up hungry
Scrambled eggs (microwave), mushrooms done in a pan, slices of ham then I heat chopped tinned tomatoes in the pan the mushrooms were in

Banana pancakes (one ripe banana, 2 eggs, peanut butter powder) with Greek yoghurt and berries

Toast with feta, avocado and red onion

45g granola with berries, yoghurt and honey

OffcialMalbecTaster Thu 17-Aug-17 20:48:01

2 eggs scrambled on 1 slice of toast. Id lovely to go higher protein and remove the toast but I get hungry quickly

thereareworsethingsicoulddo Thu 17-Aug-17 20:54:00

Sourdough toast with chopped tomatoes, mashed avocados, garlic, chill, lime and basil leaves. Yum!
