Saw this in the daily mail

Yes, I batch cooked as many meals as would fit in my freezer one day.

I was 8 months pregnant, and terrified that I wouldn't have any time to prepare and cook nutritious meals for a while, after the birth of my DD.

I cooked most meals and froze them, but others I marinated and froze, to be thrown in the oven when I needed them. I also made some spaghetti/pasta sauces and froze these, so I'd just need to cook the pasta. It really helped me to cope!

I saved money too, which was great, but not my main objective. I would like to do it again though with money saving as my objective.

I batch cook if I know I'm going to be away and need to leave meals for DH or if I know I won't be able to cook (anticipating new baby or morning sickness)

Also sometimes I just make a double batch of whatever I'm making for dinner and freeze half... then it saves getting a takeaway if we're in a pinch.
