Tiramisu HELP!!!

Hey ladies,
It's my hubby's birthday soon and his favourite dessert in tiramisu. I'd like to make a round tiramisu cake in a spring form pan.
The problem is we live in a village and I can't find ladyfingers. The only accessible buiscits are digestives, rich tea buiscits and a few more of that sort. Do you think they will hold up well? Thanks in advance x

Could you make plain sponge cake and use thin layers of that instead? I don't think normal biscuits would soak up the coffee/booze as well.

Do any major supermarkets deliver to you?

Use cake not biscuit!

All good ideas, thank you!!!! I think I'll go ahead with the cake. I could buy a plain or madeira cake, they sell that here too

Make the sponge fingers! They are super super easy and taste amazingly good. I am a tiramisu addict myself and I use this recipe for the fingers:

Make your own sponge fingers, really easy. If not can you get some trifle sponges as they'd work better than something like Madeira.
