Healthy Dinners

DH and I are a bit porky watching what we eat at the moment. No major diet or calorie counting just cutting out snacks and treats and exercising as much as we can.
Our normal dinners aren't particularly unhealthy but I'm trying to make them as healthy as possible which has resulted in two weeks of large salads with a piece of grilled fish/chicken or veg curry - perfectly nice but a bit boring! Any nice healthy recipes that you can share that are a bit more interesting please? TIA Smile

Thanks @lastqueenofscotland I hadn't thought of using veggie alternatives, I suppose they are better for you aren't they! I'll add a Dahl to the list too.

Stir fries are great - my favourite is prawn but you can also do lean beef, chicken, pork....so many options!

There is a greek inspired roast fish dish that i've been doing quite a lot recently in the warmer weather www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/greek-style-roast-fish

I also really like shakshuka in the evening - i tend to add in a can of white beans to make it a bit more filling
