Or KFC, Burger King etc.

Just felt like starting a possibly contraversial (can I even spell?) thread!

Hey Clayre, you're not meant to show me up. I was keeping quiet until I saw what other people said!
It was an emergency!

Yep, in utero here, esp ds...had dd who was 18 months, horrific backache, god bless the drive-through.

colditz · 21/03/2007 15:45

ds1 was probably about 2, ds2, not yet.

Nbot at all probably, because it's too expensive for what you actually get. Ds2 is just as happy with a 10p toy from a charity shop.

DS was 5 and DD was 2. DS has been twice (once with friends) and DD has been once.

We do other bad things though.

Oh I'm mean, they never get happy meals (they haven't figured that one out yet)

DTS are 3yo and have not had a McD or BK. They had some of our KFC chicken just before they turned 3 and did not like it. They like the chicken I cook though

well emergency is maybe a bit strong, I guess ds wouldn't have faded away if we'd waited till we got home but he wouldn't have been amused.
We were at an out of town retail park and lost track of time and so decided that some McD chicken nuggets wouldn't do him much harm (he didn't want the chips which was good coz it meant I got to eat them). He was 10 months old

I think dd was about 3 when she had her first BK, ds younger. They were both only really interested in the chips tbh, although dd, now 6, will now eat the burger too.

We've never been to Macdonalds or KFC.

I hate mcdonalds actually
but we all like wimpy. I am inclined to think that the wimpy doesnt actually 'count' as junk food

Both DS and DD in utero .

Can't remember, probably under a year.
Once we were over the purees we've just been giving her what we were having and a few times while on a long journey we've stopped for a MacD.
It's better than Burger King but not nearly as good as OK Diner.

DSs are 5 & 3, they've never been into McD's indeed DS1's only interaction has been to peer through the window looking at the crap people inside.
We use elitism as a peg to hang nutritional education on. Not sure what would happen if you tried to make DS eat a McD scrotumburger, but teeth would probably be involved...

Report

Mine (7 and 4) have never been or asked to go.

I wouldn't take them (not my idea of a nice place to eat) but they will probably go at some point with schoolfriends.

Not yet - they are 5 and 3. Its just not somewhere we'd be likely to go, I mean what's the point when there's much nicer places on offer?

Report
Clayhead · 21/03/2007 16:22

They haven't. dc are 3 and 5.
