What are your freezer essentials?

So I got back from taking my daughter to school this morning to find that my partner had left the freezer open and it'd been open since yesterday tea time. Shock Angry

So now that I've cleaned the freezer and got rid of some things (including a manky bag of sprouts from xmas) I need to restock.

I always like to have in peas, cod for my fussy eater daughter, cook from frozen sausages for my son (he'll turn into a sausage one day I'm sure), and for some reason puff pastry which I hardly ever use but always have in . . .

What are your freezer essentials?

Spinach
Green beans
Chips
Plain fish fillets of some sort and salmon
Chicken thighs
Mince
Pork chops
Some type of roasting/slow cooking joint
Pizza
Fishfingers/nuggets for quick junky tea.

I always have far more than than from stocking up on offers, plus homemade things I've frozen but that's my basics list

Peas
Prawns
Bread
Milk
Ice cubes
Ice cream
Anything that was approaching expiry date that I hadn't used in time

That's it, but we don't have a massive freezer so not space for much else.

We have two freezers for a two person household so might be a bit unusual... but:

Chopped onions
Garlic
Chillies
Soffrito
Peas
Bread
Fish
Rice
Raspberries

Batch cooked and portioned:
Soup
Chilli
Bolognaise

Plus:
Bacon
Pies
Cheese
Various meat
(All bought in bulk from our favourite suppliers and frozen in portions)

And usually some ice cream and a pizza

That covers a nice stock in our house Grin

Not an awful lot:
Chicken breasts
Salmon fillets
Steak

Peas
Broad beans
Oven chips

I like to keep one ready meal from Cook in there for emergencies too

Emergency loaf of bread

Vanilla ice cream

Ice cubes!

Everything else is frozen homemade leftovers, currently just a portion of chilli con carne and Yorkshire puddings.

Ice cubes. I can't bear room temperature water in this weather. They are also essential for G&T. Grin
Frozen Peas
Chopped herbs (garlic, coriander etc)
Chopped onions
Bolognese mixture (cooked in bulk the frozen in 2-person portions)
Vegan sausages for ds
Chicken pieces
Grated cheese

Our freezer is currently full of stuff and needs a good sort out.

Peas
Potato waffles (much to DH's disgust😂)
Part baked baguettes
Ravioli
Meat: We buy in bulk from a small holder and a local farmer so take stuff when it's back from the abattoir as it's not 'off the shelf available' if that's makes sense.
A pizza

Ours is under-used.
Pretty much always have:
peas
sweetcorn
edamame
ice cubes
blueberries
Quorn mince
ginger
I also keep nuts in there, so generally have flaked almonds and pine kernels

Try to have:
portions of rice with vege for lazy meals for dd2, along with either some Quorn nuggets or Southern style burgers, or some sort of chicken burger
a small loaf
chips
