Please give me some inspiration!
I cannot bear another sausage or burger, especially on our gas bbq where you don't have that smoky charcoal taste, we've got visitors later and I know they'll want a bbq - I was thinking of putting the lid down and cooking jacket potatoes in foil, but I need something to go with spuds/salad etc so hit me with your favourite things to cook! Smile

Kebabs! Can make yourself or all supermarkets have their own versions.

Butterflied leg of lamb. Marinate and it takes about 45 mins to cook for medium rare.

Or marinated prawns take seconds. Salmon is lovely as are kippers (no smell in house).

I found a lovely recipe in the Tesco magazine a while back.

Make a gremolata with fresh basil and parsley, lemon juice, garlic and olive oil.
Use half as a marinade for some fresh tuna steaks, but into cubes.
Skewer the tuna, alternating with cherry tomatoes, and weaving strips of Parma ham through between the tuna and toms.
Then BBQ for just a few mins and serve with the rest of the gremolata.
Yum.

Also favourites with us are souvlaki chicken kebabs, and minted lamb koftas.

We are having a BBQ later and I can't bloody wait!

Tandoori chicken legs. Marinate chicken in tandoori paste and natural yoghurt. Or a different curry paste of your choice

Ah brilliant ideas, thank you!

Spoilt for choice now, but those tuna skewers sound fab, DH sounds keen on the lamb and DD loves halloumi so I think I'll do a mix of things so there's something for everyone.

It's a glorious day for it, scorching here already!
